You also meet Leeza, who is genuinely a kind person, doing charity. That's why he wanted to throw the stone, because he was pissed off and throwing stones has always been his way of dealing with anger. You can see right away that Reef is pretty violent and angry at the world. And it sort of is, but it doesn't focus on that and if you're only into romances this is probably not the right book for you cause of the ending.Īt the start of the story you meet Reef with his "buddies" hanging out at there run down building, and acting like rebels thinking they own the place. At least the librarian said that it was a romance. Synopsis: Reef is an embittered young offender, hardly able to contain his anger at the world over the death of his grandmother, the only person who had ever shown him love. This was the book that I chosed for my english ISU and have finished it awhile back but I never got around to writing a review for it until now. ![]()
